  • Pattern Drawing as a Tool for Meditation with Aleta Akhtar

    Aleta will provide a few readings of prayers and holy writings from a variety of faiths on Compassion. You are welcome to bring a prayer or a quote, or even request prayers for people in your lives. Then I will guide you through a meditative drawing activity. This kind of guided drawing helps participants to achieve a focused mental state characteristic of most forms of meditation. I will lead the drawing activity and will teach you how to draw the patterns. No prior experience/lesson is necessary.

    A donation of $10 Members or $15 Non-Members to South Arts is requested at door.
