  Schoolhouse Holiday Artist Market: 

  Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8 from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.

  This two-day Artist Market will include a members only gallery in the Co-op room and art vendors in the other classrooms on the first and second floors.   Art Journal Bookbinding for Beginners

  Supplies List...

  1. For journal Cover (this be showing or covered in your finished product) - Cereal box or similar type of a box (bigger than what you’ll want your journal to be)
  2. Glue- a silicon glue like Fabri Tack.  Any PVA glue can work but takes longer to dry
  3. For the inside pages - any papers you would like to have inside your book.  Examples are: notebook, packaging, collage, scrapbook, homemade paper, book pages, music sheets, etc.  *The papers DO NOT need to be the same sizes*
  4. For the Cover - (this will be showing) Decorative papers or fabric
  5. Scrap fabric for the binding
  6. Scissors
  7. Ruler
  8. (optional) Small Cutting Mat

  Collage Rip & Sip       November 11, 2026    6:00-8:30

  Join us for a fun, relaxed evening of ripping, layering, and creating! We’ll explore different techniques for making collage papers and turning them into unique works of art. Bring your favorite beverage (BYOB) and let your creativity flow!

  No experience necessary! South Arts will provide plenty of supplies to experiment with different techniques and create beautiful collage papers to use in future artwork. Jeanie Slater and Cheryl Chivers will be on hand to offer guidance and inspiration.

  This is not a formal class—just a casual, creative workshop where you can relax, experiment, and have fun!

  Suggested Donation: $5 for members | $10 for non-members
