Our open studio sessions are the heart of South Arts Pittsburgh's community. Bring your own supplies and projects, work alongside fellow artists, share techniques, and enjoy a creative, supportive atmosphere. No registration needed - just show up!
All sessions are at the Bethel Park Historical Society unless otherwise noted.
Friday Open Studio
Every Friday, 10am-2pm
Open to the public - all skill levels welcome! Bring your own art supplies and whatever you're working on. Grab coffee or tea from Reginald's coffee shop in the building, settle in, and create alongside our friendly community of artists.
- Cost: Free! Suggested donation of $5

- New to art? Come anyway! We're happy to help beginners get started
Wednesday Open Studio
Every other Wednesday, 6-8:30pm
Our evening open studio offers a relaxed space to work on your art after work or school. Occasionally, we host Member Workshops where a member shares a technique or skill in a casual setting.

- What to bring: Your own supplies and projects
Figure Drawing Sessions
Every other Wednesday, 6:30-9pm
Practice your drawing skills with a live model in a supportive studio environment. The model may be nude or costumed. This is a self-directed drawing session, not an instructional class.
- Cost: $12 per session
- What to bring: Your own drawing supplies (paper, charcoal, pencils, etc.)
