Bringing Pittsburgh Artist Together for Over 40 Years!

Where creativity brings community together. Since 1984, South Arts Pittsburgh has been a place where artists of many experience levels come together to create, learn, share, and inspire one another. As a 501(c) nonprofit, we connect Pittsburgh’s South Hills community through art, education, and cultural outreach.

With more than 100+ members, ages 18 to 108 we welcome everyone from beginners and hobbyists to seasoned professionals. Through open studios, classes and workshops,  figure drawing, artist demonstrations, and exhibitions, we encourage artistic growth, celebrate creativity, and build lasting connections.

Based at the historic Schoolhouse Art & History Center in Bethel Park, we offer opportunities to explore new techniques, develop skills, connect with fellow artists, and showcase local artwork.  We also provide artists and vendors with opportunities to display and sell their work through our artists markets and special events.
